What you will do?

Generate and maintain daily production schedule ensuring priorities are clearly established

Capacity planning including staffing requirements

Establish scheduling parameters to customer order fulfillment considering production efficiencies and inventory management guidelines

Drive outage elimination/on time delivery initiatives

Generate Rough Cut Capacity Plans and detailed Capacity Requirements Plans and resolve capacity constraints


What you will bring?

  • Minimum 3 years related shop scheduling experience in a manufacturing / assembly plant, preferably in Tier 1 Automotive Plant, using both JIT and make to stock techniques or equivalent education
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Experience with D365 operating system is preferable along with working experience using Windows based software
  • Strong lean/continuous improvement background with demonstrated root cause/corrective action analysis.
  • Working knowledge of MRPII planning and scheduling systems including Material Requirements Planning and Master Scheduling
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
