Under the direction of management, the Training and Development Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating of training and development programs for all employees. May act as subject matter expert to create comprehensive training programs for diverse groups of learners utilizing best practice and training needs analyses.
Orientation and integration
Integration and orientation strategy refresh: Refresh and permanent update of integration and orientation materials; manage orientation and integration planning based on hiring plan, administrate employee manual sign off process.
Integration and orientation activities management: Prepare working equipment and welcome kit; schedule health and safety, manage induction and orientation process, sign off of induction documents (Production assemblers& technicians); manage the process for salaried personnel (from induction training to post trial period assessment).
Training Planning, Implementing and Evaluating
Data input in internal HR running systems: register the new employees (all) in the Training and Development system; attach mandatory trainings and qualifications, follow up
Training planning & Qualification management: Develop and manage an annual training plan, approve it with management team, forward plan to beneficiaries. Forward the approved training schedule to the managers and work with them on best scheduling scenarios. Register the employee for Training & inform the employee of all information; register output and follow up on efficiency.
Qualification and training process development: Improve training process on the shopfloor, develop document management, monitor training matrix support departments in rotation and poli qualification process.
General training and development management: Manage individual and collective training processes; design training plans, track and monitor, identify training suppliers, monitor and track training, register training and manage training related documents.
Career mapping within the organisation: Provide support on career planning and progression and succession planning on training and development issues
