What you will do?

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager the Safety & Environmental Advisor will champion the overall health, safety and environmental culture of the organization in the development and maintenance of Litens’ HS&E program, involvement in the hazard identification / analysis process and ensuring applicable action plans are implemented, perform routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance and conformance and report findings to management, provide and coordinate HS&E training, review all investigation reports and ensure proper corrective actions are implemented, provides applicable KPI’s to management with regards to Litens performance in the area of HS&E.

What you will bring?

  • 5 years of health, safety, environmental experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
  • Degree / diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
  • CRSP designation an asset
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance experience, including ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary; may be required to work different shifts
