What you will do?

Provide technical and strategic direction to the product development teams in terms of architecture and design of systems to enable maximum reliability, performance and scalability.

Architect robust system designs with a focus on quality, scalability, and speed to market.

Work collaboratively with multiple agile teams around the globe to help deliver end-to-end products and features, seeing them through from conception to delivery.

Provide technical direction and development support to improve team effectiveness, knowledge, and overall capability through feedback and involvement.

Stay abreast of industry trends and drive insights into systems engineer strategy.

Drive consistency in approach and analysis across product development teams and projects.

Through use of system design and simulation techniques (GT, Simulink, SysML, UML) guide teams in terms of architectural design as well as verifying implementation performance.

Understand vehicle systems and provide novel and effective solutions at the system level complete with requirements for development teams to achieve.

Drive development of ASPICE and ISO26262 compliant systems engineering processes.

What you will bring?

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Software, Computer, Control, Mechatronics) or Computer Science (Advanced degrees preferred).

5+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, Vehicle Controls, Firmware .Development or ECU development/deployment.

2+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably in C/C++ .

Demonstrated experience providing guidance, technical leadership, and mentoring to team members.

Results-oriented with ability to work independently and in a team environment while interfacing with product development teams globally.

Strong experience working within both Windows and Linux platforms.

Ability to independently investigate issues based on limited information while demonstrating high level of analytical ability to resolve complex problems in a short time.

Ability to understand the tradeoff between accuracy and speed, and determine the minimum level of confidence in order to make decisions.

Creative, disciplined, strong sense of responsibility, delivery, and schedule commitment

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience with ASPICE/ISO26262 Development activities is a significant bonus.
