 What you will do?

  • Understand and lead the DIS process with an overall understanding of the underlying processes and requirements such as DFMEA, DVPR, Design Review, etc.
  • Responsible for developing and executing the project timeline while meeting the needs of the customer and Litens.
  • Responsible for risk assessment and risk management, the initial design assessment or concept and driving the design to maturity within project timing and budget.
  • Responsible for the cost of the delivered product and the project budget.
  • Has sufficient engineering experience in product development through to launch and can apply lessons learned.
  • Maintains a strong working relationship with the customer, transparent, reliable and respected.
  • Follow customer specific documentation and matches them with internal requirements on a project by project basis.
  • Able to seek out customer needs as an input to product roadmaps and R&D projects.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to the organization and voice of Litens (PE) to the customer.
  • Able to lead gate review meetings and ensure that project targets are met by holding participants accountable.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the products produced by the design groups, and associated powertrain systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to contribute to company product strategy and vision going forward.
  • Oversee the deliverables of cross functional teams, vendors, and business resources.
  • Foster open communication across teams cross-functionally within the organization to identify cross-team development dependencies and expose risks early.
  • Facilitate activities including sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives, and daily scrums
  • Team leadership for scaled Agile cross-functional innovation team.
  • Helping the team achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members.

     What you will bring?

  • BS/MS degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5-8 years Engineering/project management experience in fast paced environment.
  • PMP or PMI-ACP certification
  • Previous experience in Agile project execution methodology
  • Excellent technical and verbal presentation skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain good relations with customers, suppliers and team members.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers and internal associates.
  • Ability to collate and analyze data, write technical reports, organize information as required.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft D365, MS Project, Atlassian tools
  • Experience defining and managing KPIs
