What will you do?

  • Support (SW) development teams to setup internal processes/methods/tools to support quality assurance strategy and project schedule
  • Monitor the SW development process to ensure design quality by confirming development team’s adherence to ASPICE standards
  • Create Work Products required for SW Quality Assurance such as a Quality Plan, Quality Status Reports and Risk Management Plan
  • Perform SW Risk Management through various phases of product development to identify, analyze, treat, and monitor risks continuously
  • Review and ensure end-to-end Traceability throughout development life cycle
  • Co-ordinate and support all internal and external audits/assessments in the project including preparation and follow up on findings related to industry standards for quality and safety (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC61508)
  • Review deliverables to ensure ASPICE as per V-Model Process, Management Processes, and Support Processes
  • Ensure that non-conformances of work products, processes, and processes with relevant activities are identified, recorded, communicated, tracked, resolved, and further prevented
  • Support the Problem Management Process by participating in investigations, problem resolution activities, and auditing SW changes required to rectify field issues
  • Initiate activities to continuously improve the SW QA Process by enhancing defined requirements and process metrics

What will you bring?

  • S in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Software/Controls Engineering
  • 3+ years of applied experience in automotive projects with electro/mechanical systems
  • ASQ Software Quality Engineer Certification (CSQE) preferred
  • Working knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262 Functional Safety software development process
  • Strong knowledge and experience in generating, tracking, and maintaining SW Quality Plans
  • Working knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development process
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player who is proactive, quality-conscious, customer-oriented, and results oriented
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal and presentation skills
