 What you will do?

Lead/plan and perform embedded electronics engineering assignments associated with design, testing, development, or applications of embedded electronic test setups.

Collaborate with hardware, controls, and software engineers to develop/test/simulate control systems.

Complete design and documentation deliverables in accordance with ISO26262/ASPICE

Ability to verify/test/troubleshoot advanced embedded electronics (selection of components, design of circuits)

Contribute to quotations, feasibility reviews, drawing reviews, technical reports.

Prepare technical presentations for internal or customer use.

Investigate problems and find root causes using appropriate methods and tools, assist manufacturing and suppliers to make improvements.

Devise testing method to support development of new technology or products.

Specify the testing setup needs for assigned projects – this includes all fixtures, sensors, DAQ and control types needed to accomplish testing needed

Enable rapid testing by leading and performing tests for high priority projects.

Design fixtures, sensor brackets, or any other associated components needed to perform the required testing.

What you will bring?

BSc in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering

Possesses strong problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of controls methods/techniques and technologies

PCB design/component selection knowledge

Good collaboration and communication skills related to presentation of technical information

Have good document and collaboration software understanding (MS Office, MS Teams, etc.)

Good knowledge of Root-cause analysis, uncanny ability to detect issues and sound knowledge of methods to track root causes

Highly skilled at data Analysis; this includes post processing using modern signal processing techniques

Clear and concise documentation of Key test results, trends, characteristics, etc.

Knowledge of modern test automation techniques

Up to date knowledge of modern DAQ and Control systems associated with testing of automotive grade equipment; this includes HiL systems as well as Durability test setups
