What you will do:
This position involves applying and adapting product solutions to satisfy customer expectations for function, reliability and quality. You will work as both a key customer contact point and part of the Litens global cross functional team. This team uses the APQP process and sound engineering principles to provide award winning solutions to our global customer base and deliver excellence in every endeavor.
You will work to understand and meet customer expectations for technical content, configuration, durability, cost, reliability.
Use company APQP process to execute projects as part of a global cross functional team.
Prepare designs, calculations, proposals and revision to support engineering projects under direction. Assist with quotations, feasibility reviews, drawing reviews, technical reports.
Prepare technical presentations for internal or customer use.
Launch product into market under tight timelines.
Investigate problems and find root causes using appropriate methods and tools, assist manufacturing and suppliers to make improvements.

What you will bring:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the automotive industry.
Strong automotive background and good understanding of internal combustion engines and hybrid vehicle concepts is required.
Track record of effective decision making on complex technical issues and/or implementation of major programs.
Great communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Design for cost and design for manufacturing experience with different type of automotive products
A proven history of using documented problem solving tools (8D, why analysis, etc) to resolve technical issues.
Effective communication and presentation skills in dealing with customer, APQP Team members and senior company officers
Good project management capability
Proficient with MS Office suite of products.
