Through the use of application lifecycle management system, the Business Analyst (BA) defines project scope and implements improvements to achieve company objectives. The BA encourages collaboration and teamwork while maintaining quality, cost and schedule, measuring their success by the success of the business stakeholders served.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Liaise with stakeholders to analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems
• Identify new process opportunities, assess feasibility of business process improvement requests including validation of benefits and requirements definition
• Identify potential issues and mitigate problems
• Implement and support business intelligence
• Advocates industry best practices, process standardization and centralization
• Partner with appropriate department(s) to develop training program(s) for business system changes for all stakeholders and Key Stakeholders. Ensure adequate training programs are provided
• Partner with Information Systems to optimize process beyond business application configuration
• Ensures data integrity by monitoring data not managed by validation or integration; Identify test scenarios, write test cases, and conduct test preparation and planning; Set user testing expectations and facilitate acceptance testing
• Monitor business systems’ compliance
• Review workflow, sign-off, duration, performance and establish improvement strategies through enhancements and training
• Lead multiple initiatives while maintaining priorities and timelines set out for projects
