Join Litens Production team as a Production Group Leader. The Production Group Leader supervises Team Leaders, Production Assemblers and provides guidance to Set-up and Maintenance teams to ensure that Safety, Quality and Production targets are met on a daily basis. Responsible for training Team Leaders and Production Assemblers .

What will you do?

  • Perform Leader Standard Work tasks
  • Ensure the proper training/re-training of production employees for new products and process changes
  • Perform audits to ensure new and existing operators are trained on work station tasks as per Process Standards and performance assessments have been completed
  • Work daily with Production Scheduler, Team Leaders and Support Groups where appropriate to ensure proper allocation of people
  • Provide oversite to ensure WorkCentre alert lights/alarms are responded to within 2 minutes
  • Conduct preliminary troubleshooting effort on line down events and provide direction to support teams
  • Maximize production efficiency during changeovers

What will you bring?

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Experience in a repetitive manufacturing environment – leadership experience is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles, and concepts
  • Comfortable operating a PC and related technology
  • Proficient software skills including MS Office
  • May be required to work different shifts
