We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Test Engineer with a strong background in DevOps practices to join our dynamic team. As an Full Stack Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded software products by applying testing methodologies, frameworks, automation, and leveraging DevOps principles. You will collaborate closely with the development team, participate in continuous integration and deployment processes, and be a key contributor to the overall improvement of our software development lifecycle.

What you will do: 

Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded software applications, focusing on functional and non-functional requirements (safety, security, performance).

Work with product development teams to gain and maintain an expert-level understanding of our products, including in the areas of high voltage battery management system (BMS) and thermal management systems.

Design and implement automated test frameworks and test suites using appropriate testing tools and scripting languages to guarantee thorough test coverage.

Assure the functionality, dependability, and quality of our software solutions.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, and software developers to understand software requirements, provide feedback, and ensure testability of features during the design phase.

Perform thorough testing of embedded software modules, including functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.

Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating testing activities and participating in automated build and release processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate DevOps principles and practices, including version control, code review, and continuous integration, into the software development lifecycle.

Monitor and analyze test results, generate test reports, and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance product quality.

Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in embedded software testing and DevOps.

What you will bring:

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Embedded Software Tester (5 years) or similar role.

Familiarity with automotive development standards and processes (Automotive SPICE – ASPICE, ISO 26262) is a plus.

Experience with embedded software testing tools (Parasoft, VectorCAST, Cantata, Coverity, SonarQube, LabVIEW) is a plus.

Strong understanding of embedded systems, software development processes, and agile testing methodologies and best practices.

Proficiency in using test frameworks, test automation tools, scripting/languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or Shell scripting.

Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including version control systems (e.g., Github, Bitbucket, Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus), and configuration management.

Experience in ARM-Based MCUs (Infineon AURIX Family – TC3xx is a plus)

Experience with Real time operating systems (FreeRTOS, SAFERTOS)

Solid knowledge of model based design processes, software testing techniques, defect tracking systems, and test management tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
